Riva RV Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions govern the services provided by Riva RV Solutions LLC, doing business as Riva RV Solutions, including Mobile RV Repair, Riva Signature Winterization Service, and the RV Smart Buy Inspection. By using our services, you agree to these terms. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Texas, and any dispute arising out of these terms shall be brought in the courts of the county in which the service or inspection took place, unless applicable law requires otherwise. If any portion of these terms is held unenforceable under Texas Law, that provision shall be severed and the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. Nothing herein shall limit Riva RV Solutions’ liability for its own gross negligence or willful misconduct to the extent such limitation is prohibited by Texas Law. Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit any rights or remedies to which a customer may be entitled under applicable Texas Law.
Customer Authorization and Acceptance
By requesting service, scheduling an appointment, approving an estimate, providing a deposit or payment, signing a work order or invoice, or authorizing work by telephone, text message, email, electronic communication, or other means, the customer authorizes Riva RV Solutions to perform the requested services and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The customer acknowledges that estimates, invoices, work orders, electronic approvals, text messages, emails, and other communications may be relied upon by Riva RV Solutions as authorization to proceed with work and to bill applicable charges.

Standard Trip Charges
For purposes of travel and mileage calculations, Riva RV Solutions’ home base is in Glen Rose, Texas. All trip charges and mileage fees are calculated based on the travel distance from this location to the service site.
•Up to 35 miles: $125 trip charge
•More than 35 miles and up to 50 miles: $175 trip charge
•More than 50 miles: $175 trip charge plus $3.50 per one-way mile beyond 50 miles
All mileage calculations are based on the travel distance from Riva RV Solutions’ home base to the service location.
Dispatch and Service Visits
Trip charges apply to all dispatched service calls, inspections, site visits, scheduled appointments, return visits, diagnostic visits, and other on-site services.
Trip charges remain applicable regardless of the outcome of the visit, including but not limited to situations where:
• Repairs cannot be completed
• Parts are unavailable
• Warranty coverage is denied or delayed
• A diagnosis cannot be confirmed
• Access to the RV is restricted or unavailable
• The customer elects not to proceed with recommended repairs
• Additional visits are required
Return Visits
If a return visit is required because a commonly used part that would reasonably be expected to be stocked on the service vehicle was unavailable at the time of the initial visit, no additional trip charge will apply for the return visit.
Examples may include:
• Common plumbing fittings and valves
• Standard electrical connectors
• Common water heater components
• Standard furnace service parts
• Similar routinely stocked service items
If a return visit is required due to large, specialty, uncommon, discontinued, special-order, manufacturer-specific, or non-stocked parts, the return visit will be considered a separate service call and all applicable trip charges, mileage charges, and labor charges will apply.
Examples may include:
• Air conditioners
• Water heaters
• Furnaces
• Major appliances
• Hydraulic components
• Slide-out control systems
• Electronic modules
• Specialty or discontinued parts
Fee Waivers
At its sole discretion, Riva RV Solutions may waive or reduce certain travel, dispatch, or return trip charges when circumstances warrant. Any such waiver applies only to the specific visit or invoice and does not constitute a continuing waiver of future charges.
Billable Time
Labor charges apply to all time spent on the project, including but not limited to on-site diagnostics, repairs, installations, troubleshooting, communications with manufacturers, warranty companies, insurance providers, suppliers, technical support, claim administration, parts sourcing, project research, estimate preparation, documentation, and other activities necessary to complete the work.
At its sole discretion, Riva RV Solutions may waive or reduce certain fees or charges when circumstances warrant. Any such waiver shall apply only to the specific visit or invoice and shall not constitute a continuing waiver of any future charges or fees.
Warranty and Insurance Billing
Warranty, insurance, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), manufacturer, and third-party payer work is billed at $175 per hour, per technician. Labor charges apply to all time spent on the project, including on-site work, diagnostics, communications with warranty providers, manufacturers, insurance companies, claim administration, documentation, project research, parts sourcing, and related administrative activities.
All labor charges, trip charges, mileage fees, materials, parts, shop supplies, disposal fees, administrative fees, diagnostic charges, and any other costs incurred in connection with the service are billed at Riva RV Solutions’ actual rates and charges. Any amount not approved, covered, reimbursed, or paid by a warranty company, insurance company, OEM, manufacturer, service contract provider, or other third-party payer remains the sole responsibility of the customer.
Riva RV Solutions will make reasonable efforts to obtain the maximum available coverage and reimbursement from warranty providers, insurance companies, manufacturers, and other third-party payers. However, coverage decisions, labor allowances, parts approvals, payment limits, and claim adjustments are determined solely by the applicable provider and may change throughout the claim process. As a result, the final customer responsibility may not be known until all charges have been submitted, reviewed, and processed by the applicable provider.
Riva RV Solutions will make reasonable efforts to communicate anticipated non-covered charges to the customer whenever possible, but cannot guarantee advance notice of all claim adjustments, denials, limitations, or payment reductions imposed by third-party payers.
a. OEMs, manufacturers, warranty providers, insurance companies, and other third-party payers may not cover certain charges, including but not limited to trip charges, extended mileage fees, shop supplies, small parts, disposal fees, diagnostic time, or full labor costs.
b. All work is performed and billed at Riva RV Solutions’ standard rates.
c. Any portion of the invoice not approved, covered, or paid by any OEM, manufacturer, warranty provider, insurance company, or other third-party payer—including deductibles, additional fees, materials, and labor—remains the responsibility of the customer.
d. Payment of all non-covered or outstanding balances is due upon completion of service, regardless of claim status or reimbursement delays.
e. Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for claim denials, partial approvals, delays, or disputes between the customer and any OEM, manufacturer, warranty provider, insurance company, or third-party payer.
Customer Supplied Parts
Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for the quality, warranty, or performance of customer-supplied parts. If we agree to install parts not provided by us, our labor is warrantied to the extent allowed by law; however, we assume no liability for defects, failures, or issues related to those parts.
If customer-supplied parts are found to be incorrect, incompatible, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise unsuitable for installation:
a. All diagnostic time, labor time, and service call minimums remain billable.
b. Any additional time required to evaluate, modify, or attempt installation will be billed at the standard hourly rate.
c. If installation cannot be completed due to incorrect parts, the visit will be considered complete and billable.
d. If a return visit is required after the correct parts are obtained, a new service charge, travel fees, and labor minimums will apply.
e. Any original estimate may be revised to reflect additional labor, complications, or required return visits.
Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for delays, additional labor costs, or return trip charges resulting from customer-supplied parts that are incorrect or improperly ordered.
Additional Repairs and Unforeseen Issues
If additional damage or unexpected issues are discovered, the customer will be notified and further repairs will be discussed before work continues. Additional costs may apply. In some situations, the original repair may not be possible until the newly discovered issues are addressed.
Manufacturer and Pre-Existing Defects
Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for defects, failures, damage, design issues, manufacturing defects, assembly defects, installation deficiencies, or workmanship issues originating from the RV manufacturer, component manufacturer, dealer, installer, previous repair facility, previous owner, or any third party.
During the course of service, Riva RV Solutions may discover pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, improper prior repairs, code violations, manufacturing defects, or installation deficiencies that affect the performance, safety, or repairability of the RV. Correction of such conditions is not included in the original scope of work unless specifically authorized by the customer and may result in additional charges.
Riva RV Solutions is not liable for failures that occur as a result of pre-existing defects or conditions that were not caused by its own workmanship.
Disposal Fees
a. Batteries: 10 USD each
b. Air conditioners: 50 USD each
c. Refrigerators: 100 USD each
Warranty
a. Riva RV Solutions provides a 90-day labor warranty.
b. Parts are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear.
c. This warranty is void if the customer, another technician, or another repair facility tampers with, modifies, or attempts repairs on the same work performed by Riva RV Solutions. Except as otherwise prohibited by Texas law, Riva RV Solutions disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Cancellations and Access
a. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will be charged a cancellation fee of 125 USD.
b. If a customer cancels after Riva RV Solutions has already been dispatched, the full service/dispatch fee of 125 USD will be due.
c. If Riva RV Solutions arrives on site but cannot access the RV due to locked gates, missing keys, lack of utilities, or other restrictions, the customer will be charged the applicable trip charge for the service location plus the 30-minute minimum labor charge for one technician ($80).
Hazardous or Unsafe Conditions
Riva RV Solutions reserves the right to refuse or stop work if hazardous, unsanitary, or unsafe conditions are encountered, including but not limited to sewage spills, infestations, black mold, unsafe electrical conditions, or the presence of uncontrolled animals such as aggressive dogs, cats, or other pets. Any time spent on site up to that point, including the service charge and minimum labor, remains billable.
Liability
Riva RV Solutions is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from services provided, to the fullest extent permitted by Texas law. This includes but is not limited to lost profits, downtime, trip cancellations, campground fees, lodging or other indirect losses.
No Guarantee of Timelines
All repair timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to parts availability, supplier issues, complexity of work, scheduling, or other factors outside our control. As a small business, unforeseen personal circumstances such as illness, injury, or emergencies may also cause delays. In such cases, Riva RV Solutions will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer in finding alternative service providers but will not be responsible for covering the cost of such work.
Force Majeure
Riva RV Solutions shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by weather events, natural disasters, supplier delays, shipping disruptions, acts of government, labor shortages, power outages, vehicle breakdowns, illness, emergencies, or other events beyond its reasonable control.
B. ESTIMATE DEPOSIT AND PARTS PAYMENT
Estimate Policy
For any project where Riva RV Solutions provides a written estimate at least one business day in advance of the scheduled work, a deposit is required before the job will be placed on the schedule or any parts are ordered. This policy does not apply to same-day service calls or emergency repairs that are billed at time of service.
Nature of Estimates
All estimates provided by Riva RV Solutions are estimates only and are not guarantees of final price, labor hours, parts costs, completion times, or project scope. Estimates are based on the information available at the time they are prepared and represent Riva RV Solutions’ best judgment regarding the anticipated work required.
Actual costs may increase or decrease due to hidden damage, unforeseen conditions, additional repairs, changes in project scope, diagnostic findings, parts availability, manufacturer requirements, customer requests, price fluctuations, shipping costs, warranty claim requirements, or other factors discovered during the course of the project.
Riva RV Solutions will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in cost as they become known; however, the customer acknowledges that final project costs may differ from the original estimate and agrees to pay for all labor, materials, parts, and services actually provided.
Deposit Requirements
a. If the estimated cost of parts exceeds 50% of the total estimate, the customer must pay 100% of the parts cost (plus applicable sales tax) in advance. These parts payments are non-refundable once parts have been ordered.
b. If the estimated cost of parts is 50% or less of the total estimate, the customer must pay a deposit equal to 50% of the total estimate (including parts, labor, and tax).
c. No work will be scheduled, and no parts will be ordered, until the required deposit has cleared.
Balance Due
Remaining balances, including any additional labor, materials, parts, consumables, taxes, or processing fees, are due immediately upon completion of the job and before the RV is released or service is considered complete.
Progress Billing and Payment Requirements
a. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all fees, charges, labor, materials, parts, taxes, and other amounts incurred are due upon completion of the service being performed, regardless of whether the overall project requires multiple visits, additional parts, warranty approvals, or future scheduled work.
b. For projects requiring multiple visits, Riva RV Solutions may, at its sole discretion, invoice and collect payment at the completion of each visit, upon completion of specific project milestones, or upon completion of the entire project.
c. Riva RV Solutions reserves the right to require full or partial payment prior to dispatch, scheduling, ordering parts, commencing work, or returning for additional visits. Any such payment requirements shall be determined at the sole discretion of Riva RV Solutions.
d. Failure to make required payments may result in suspension of work, cancellation of scheduled visits, delays in service, or withholding of reports, documentation, or completed work until payment is received.
Cancellations and Refunds
a. Parts payments are non-refundable once parts have been ordered.
b. If the customer cancels the scheduled work at least ten (10) business days in advance, Riva RV Solutions may, at its sole discretion, refund the labor portion of the deposit.
c. If cancellation occurs with less than ten (10) business days’ notice, the entire deposit is forfeited.
d. If ordered parts are returnable to the supplier, a refund may be issued equal to the supplier’s credit minus any restocking fee and handling costs. Non-returnable or special order remain the property of the customer once ordered and paid.
Payment Methods and Fees
a. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Zelle, and credit card.
b. Personal checks must clear before any parts are ordered or work is scheduled.
c. Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee.
d. In the event of a billing dispute, the customer agrees to contact Riva RV Solutions in writing and allow ten (10) business days to resolve the issue before initiating a chargeback. If a chargeback is filed, the customer remains responsible for the original amount, all bank reversal fees, a 50 USD administrative fee or 5% of the disputed amount (whichever is greater), and any associated collection costs. Unpaid balances may be referred to collections, and the customer will be responsible for all related collection costs, attorney’s fees, and court costs.
Late Payments and Delinquent Accounts
a. Payment is due upon completion of service and issuance of invoice, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
b. Any invoice not paid when due will be considered past due. Past-due balances will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% annually), or the maximum rate permitted under Texas law, whichever is less, beginning the day after the payment due date and continuing until paid in full.
c. Interest will be calculated on the outstanding balance only and will not compound unless required by law.
d. Riva RV Solutions reserves the right to suspend future services, withhold reports, delay scheduling, or decline additional work for any customer with a past-due balance.
e. If an account is referred to collections, legal action, or other recovery efforts, the customer agrees to be responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees, court costs, and administrative expenses incurred in recovering the outstanding balance.
f. Acceptance of partial payment does not waive the right to collect the remaining balance or any applicable interest.
Taxes and Title to Parts
a. Texas sales tax will be charged on all taxable parts and materials at the rate in effect on the invoice date.
b. Ordered parts become the property of the customer once payment has been received in full.
Estimate Validity
All estimates are valid for fifteen (15) calendar days unless otherwise stated. If material costs change significantly or new issues are discovered before work begins, a revised estimate and updated deposit may be required.
C. RV SMART BUY INSPECTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Nature of the Inspection
The RV Smart Buy Inspection is intended to identify significant deficiencies that may affect a purchase decision. It is a visual and hands-on evaluation of major RV systems, supplemented by the Inspector’s professional judgment and guidance. This service is an advisory walkthrough, not a standards-based or NRVIA-certified inspection. Essential systems such as climate control, propane, electrical, and other major components may be tested within the limits of a pre-purchase evaluation. No invasive or destructive testing is performed. Minor cosmetic issues or routine wear may not be noted unless they pose broader concerns. The client directs how deeply the Inspector investigates each system or component. Because the service is billed hourly, the client may prioritize systems or stop the process early. Inspections typically begin with critical systems before moving to less essential components. By engaging this service, the client acknowledges that they are choosing a flexible, interactive, opinion-based inspection rather than a comprehensive certified inspection.
Scope and Limitations
a. The Inspector’s review is limited to readily accessible areas, systems, and components. No invasive or destructive testing is performed.
b. The Inspector does not test for radon, asbestos, lead paint, mold, formaldehyde, or other environmental hazards.
c. Cosmetic issues or normal wear may not be documented unless they present a significant concern.
d. Hidden defects or issues not visible through non-invasive means may not be discovered.
e. Reports are for the client’s personal use only and not intended for reliance by third parties.
f. This inspection is not a code-compliance inspection, warranty evaluation, insurance evaluation, appraisal, or NRVIA-certified inspection. No prediction of future performance or remaining life of any component is made.
Payment and Scheduling
There is a call-out fee that covers travel to the inspection site. The standard fee covers up to 35 miles from our home base in Glen Rose, Texas. An additional charge of $3.50 per one-way mile may be applied at the discretion of Riva RV Solutions for locations beyond this distance. The call-out fee does not include any inspection time. The minimum non-refundable charge for any inspection appointment consists of the applicable call-out fee for the service location plus 30 minutes of inspection time ($80). Additional inspection time is billed at the applicable hourly rate in 0.25-hour (15-minute) increments. Payment for the estimated inspection time is due in full before the inspection begins. If the client ends the inspection early, unused time beyond the minimums will be refunded. If payment is not received, Riva RV Solutions may cancel the inspection or withhold results.
Ownership of Report and Third-Party Use
a. Findings and any reports remain the property of Riva RV Solutions and may be used by the client for personal decision-making.
b. Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for how third parties interpret or use the inspection findings.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
a. Findings are based on visual and hands-on assessments and professional judgment. No warranty is provided for future condition or performance.
b. Riva RV Solutions assumes no liability for future issues that arise after the inspection.
c. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riva RV Solutions’ total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the inspection is limited to the amount paid for the inspection. The client waives any claim for consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages.
Client Responsibilities
a. The client may be present during the inspection for real-time feedback.
b. The RV Smart Buy Inspection is a moment-in-time evaluation. The inspection results and report reflect only the conditions observed at the time of inspection. Conditions can change at any time after the inspection due to use, transport, temperature, weather, modifications, or other factors beyond our control.
c. The inspection may reveal or trigger failures in components that were already weakened or near the end of their service life. Riva RV Solutions is not responsible if a component fails during normal operation or testing performed in the course of the inspection.
d. The client is responsible for ensuring safe access to the RV and for providing full hookups including electrical power, water, and propane. If access is restricted, keys are missing, communications are delayed, or utilities are unavailable, wait time will be billed at the same hourly inspection rate.
e. The client understands that Riva RV Solutions cannot see inside walls, ceilings, floors, sealed compartments, or other concealed areas, and is not responsible for defects or conditions hidden from view
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute or claim arising from this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the county in which the inspection took place, under the laws of the State of Texas.
Additional Provisions
a. This service does not replace an NRVIA-certified inspection.
b. No action may be brought more than 90 days after the inspection date.
c. These terms are not transferable without written consent.
d. Proceeding with the inspection confirms acceptance of these terms.
D. RIVA SIGNATURE WINTERIZATION
Scope
This is a preventative maintenance service. We drain the RV’s water systems, blow out all lines with compressed air, and apply RV antifreeze to fixtures and traps. This service does not diagnose or repair pre-existing issues.
Repairs and Defects
If a pump, valve, faucet, fitting, or control prevents completion of the service, we will explain the issue, outline available options, and confirm any additional charges before proceeding.
De-Winterization
De-winterization is a separate service and is not included in this estimate.
Access
Please provide clear access to the pass-through area for the water pump, water bay, bathrooms, kitchen, exterior shower, and any appliances with water lines (such as a washer, dishwasher, or ice maker, if equipped). If stored items or clutter restrict access, additional time required to move or work around obstacles may incur extra charges. We will review these with you on site before beginning work.
Add-Ons and Specialty Systems
Appliances and systems beyond the base winterization service are billed according to our price book. These may include, but are not limited to: ice maker, second bathroom, washer, dishwasher, tankless heater, hydronic heat, exterior kitchenette, and generator winterization.
Limitations
Proper winterization reduces risk but cannot guarantee against damage caused by prior conditions, hidden water, improper storage, or later exposure to freezing temperatures.
Sump Pump Exclusion
Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for the condition, function, performance, or failure of any sump pump system. Winterization does not include inspection, testing, or protection of sump pumps, nor does it cover any resulting issues related to sump pump operation.
Non-Operable Appliances
Riva RV Solutions is not responsible for winterizing any appliance or fixture that is not fully operational at the time of service. This includes, but is not limited to, washing machines, dishwashers, ice makers, water dispensers, and similar equipment. Appliances or systems that fail to run, cycle, or activate cannot be winterized and are excluded from all warranties and liability. Riva RV Solutions assumes no responsibility for any damage resulting from appliances that could not be winterized due to inoperability or mechanical failure.
Customer Preparation
Please shut off the water supply, provide all necessary keys and access codes, and ensure that power is available if needed to operate valves or the pump. Notify us of any aftermarket plumbing modifications before service.
Travel and Service Area
The base price includes our local service charge within the stated radius of Glen Rose, Texas. Additional travel fees may apply for locations beyond that radius.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
E. PHOTOS, VIDEO & AUDIO DOCUMENTATION
Riva RV Solutions may take photos, videos, and audio recordings during any repair, service, inspection, or winterization appointment for the purpose of documenting conditions, work performed, and system status. These materials form part of the service or inspection record and may be shared with the customer as needed.
Riva RV Solutions may use non-identifiable images or recordings of RV components, such as damaged parts, system conditions, or general before-and-after examples, for internal training, documentation, or marketing. Personally identifiable content (including faces, license plates, property details, or background items that may reveal personal identity) will not be publicly used without the customer’s permission.
All documentation remains the property of Riva RV Solutions. Use of any such materials by third parties is not permitted without written consent.
F. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Riva RV Solutions reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion with or without cause.
G. NO STORAGE OF VEHICLES OR TRAILERS
Riva RV Solutions does not provide storage for customer vehicles, trailers, or RVs.
H. SEVERABILITY AND GOVERING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in Somervell County, Texas, unless otherwise required by law. If any portion of these terms is found unenforceable under Texas law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Except where prohibited, Riva RV Solutions disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and limits remedies to the extent permitted under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
BY ENGAGING RIVA RV SOLUTIONS FOR ANY SERVICE OR INSPECTION, YOU AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS ABOVE.
